Welcome to CALAVERA HILLS ELEMENTARY PTA
Message from PTA President Shaun Surmanian-
Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year!
This school year is already off to a great start and we're so happy to have you as part of our community.
Our Coyote Community is at the very heart of our school- our teachers and staff, our students and our families are what make our school so special. This year we continue to look for new ways to come together and strengthen our sense of community as we head into the new school year. The more people that are involved, the better it is for all of our students.
The role of the PTA on our campus is to support our Teachers, Staff and Students with resources that they need throughout the school year. If there's a need the PTA will look to find a way to fill that need. We raise funds throughout the school year in order to provide funding for our PE Teacher, Teacher Grants that our Teachers can use to buy supplies for their classrooms, Art in Action, Educational Assemblies and so much more!
Being a member of the PTA does not require you to volunteer but we do try to create opportunities for families to get involved so if you're interested in volunteering don't hesitate to reach out to us. Being a member means you're part of our PTA organization and get to vote at our 3 General Association Meetings each school year. We encourage you attend our General Association Meetings to stay up to date on what programs we're funding and supporting on campus thoughout the school year.
So, this school year we invite you to get involved in whatever way that you can: Join or donate to our PTA, volunteer if you're able to, support our school by participating in Dine-Outs or join us for Coffee with the Principal at our 1st Friday Assemblies- Everyone is welcome no matter how large or small your contribution is!
Thank you for your support, let's make it a great school year!
