Calavera Hills Elementary School recognizes that what we expect today from students in the way of positive choices and behavior, we see tomorrow as they become positive, productive adults and citizens of our community. Toward that goal, CHE teaches and acknowledges a character trait each month in our classrooms and throughout our campus. Monday morning assemblies introduce each trait ,which is then reinforced throughout the week in classroom lessons and activities. Students receive Coyote Compliments which serve as school currency at our school supply store. At the end of each month, two students from each class are nominated and recognized as outstanding examples of our monthly trait and receive their awards at a schoolwide assembly. We are proud of the efforts of our students as they develop the skills and traits necessary to become successful adults.
