Each month, we will celebrate a character trait in our classrooms and at our schoolwide Coyote Community to begin each week. Conversations and lessons will include the meaning for each, the behavior of one who reflects that trait, and developing a positive campus community apply that trait.
 

Character Trait for the month of May: Ambition

At CHE, we define ambition as a strong desire to attain a goal and the persistence to work for it. It is seeing the greater opportunity in simple goals. It is having a larger vision of a task or activity. It working toward making something the best it can be.

Applications for KidsCare for 2011-12 are being accepted now. If you need safe, convenient, and quality childcare, at a competitive rate, on-site, anytime from 7:00 am- 6:25 pm, then please call 929-1555 for additional information or visit the Kids' Care program in our Cavern to meet and talk to the site director. A special session is in place for our Late Owl kindergartners from 8-10:10 am. Early sign-up ensures a spot for your child. Find their flyer in the Homepage locker.

When your child is out ill, please be sure to call the CHE Attendance Hotline at 331-6370 to report the absence. Please leave your child's name, grade, teacher, and the reason and duration of the absence. We appreciate your cooperation!

Please be reminded that talking on cell phones while driving in our parking lot- hands-free or not- and/or texting is not safe for students and staff. We ask that your attention be fully on your driving, and the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and community. The following videos are worth watching:
